Black Eyed Peas star Fergie does not believe her husband’s denials that he romped with a stripper, it has been claimed.

Last week, a US tabloid alleged that Transformers star Josh Duhamel had a fling with a blonde lapdancer.

His rep denied the story – but now Fergie is said to have lost trust in her husband.

A band insider said: “[Fergie's] been around musicians for too long.

She understands show business marriages are not like other people’s.”

The pair, who wed in January, had “a very intense and heated” chat about the situation, the source added.

The source said: “He’s definitely in the doghouse.

“But Fergie’s hanging in there – at least for the time being.

“She was fully aware of Josh’s reputation as a ladies’ man when she hooked up with him.”

A representative for Fergie, 34, was unavailable for comment.

Atlanta stripper Nicole Forrrester has claimed that she and Duhamel, 36, slept together after meeting at a club.
