World-class culinary superstar Gordon Ramsay was seen slumming it at a popular Malibu supermarket.

He also trotted his vehicle into a disabled parking spot.

Ramsay, who is laying low after a media furore in Australia earlier this year, looked cheerful and summery in a departure from his customary scowling demeanour.

Ramsay, a father of four, has been faced with some rough business prospects that include closings of restaurants. To add to the mix, a half-sister has said that the chef has failed to follow through on a promise to meet up with her.
