Katy Perry and Russell Brand rushed out to eat in darkness at Dans Le Noir, a select London noshery.

Perry was booked to do a radio interview with Chris Moyles. But the host was surprised to receive a call from Brand just hours before the booked appearance saying Perry would not be able to appear and that the pair wanted to spend time together.

Perry, in London for a short stopover, is apparently eager to spend as much time as possible with Brand. She flew in from hosting the MTV Europe Awards in Berlin, which marked the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Moyles’s producers scurried to fill the void on Chris Moyles’s Quiz Night. Mamma Mia! actor Dominic Cooper was the result.

A source said: “Chris was a bit annoyed but thinks Katy is hot as well – and if she was his girlfriend he would probably do the same!”

Brand was asked whether he was in love. He replied: “It seems that I am. Because of this overwhelming urge to change and to be beautiful to everyone and to be kind.”
