Singer Kelis has spoken for the first time since the birth of her “perfect” son by posting messages on her Twitter page.

The 29-year-old Milkshake star reportedly gave birth to a little boy called Knight on July 21 after her estranged husband Nas spoke on a video confirming the birth.

Kelis has now posted messages on Twitter saying: “Ok, so I did it, he’s 7.8 pounds of the greatest stuff on earth.”

She said: “I was in labor for three of the longest most painful days of my life. I don’t understand when women say they don’t remember giving birth. I will remember for the rest of my life. He’s kinda perfect btw.”
