Brit actor Michael Sheen may be famous for his portrayal of former Prime Minister Tony Blair – but he has revealed that his new role as a vampire is the only one his daughter has ever been excited about.

Sheen said that his 10-year-old daughter Lily is a massive Twilight fan and burst into tears, when he told her that he would be appearing in Twilight: New Moon.

Sheen, who has played Blair in The Queen and starred in Frost/Nixon, will play the vampire Aro in the upcoming movie.

“Forget about playing Tony Blair. When I told her I was definitely playing Aro in Twilight, she cried,” said Sheen.

“She was so overwhelmed and annoyed that I muscled in on something that was hers.

“She’s already told me she’ll be my date for the premiere.”
