MTV planning to show DJ AM’s new reality series filmed shortly before his death

MTV planning to show DJ AM's new reality series filmed shortly before his deathMTV are reportedly planning to show DJ AM’s new reality series that was filmed shortly before his death.

The DJ, whose full name is Adam Goldstein, was found dead in his apartment in New York last month.

It is claimed MTV are now planning to show the documentary, called Gone Too Far, after having talks with his family, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show is an “Intervention”-style series that sees Goldstein playing the part of a sober guide for addicts, although there were worries that it could come across as hypocritical.

However, some claim that the series could successfully bring across an anti-drug message. There are eight episodes in the series and DJ AM tweeted just three days before his death that he had finished filming.

MTV declined to comment on the matter but it has been claimed that no final decision has been made on whether or not the show will be aired.
