Singer Rihanna could be getting closer to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

The Umbrella star’s lawyers will ask a judge to lift an order of protection that prevents Brown from coming within 50-yards of Rihanna.

Brown, 20, pleaded guilty in June to one count of felony assault over the February 8 attack in a rented Lamborghini.

Rihanna, 21, wants a looser ‘level one’ court order with no distance requirement placed on Brown, according to U.S reports.

Brown, who has now publicly apologized, must complete 1,400 hours of community service and take 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling.

But insiders say that the legal move does not mean that Rihanna is looking to get back together with Brown.

“She’s not dumb - she would never mess around with him again,” a pal revealed.
