Sean Penn’s 16-year-old son was reportedly arrested last week at his school in Malibu.
According to RadarOnline.com, Hopper Jack Penn was taken into custody by the LA County Sheriff’s department.
But as he is a minor, officials will not release details as to why he was arrested or if charges have been filed.
A senior LA County Sheriff source confirmed that Penn was arrested at the school he attends in the posh Malibu area.
Hopper’s arrest has come at a difficult time for Penn – in August, his actress wife Robin Wright Penn filed for divorce, insisting that unlike previous occasions when she withdrew divorce papers, this time she has no plans to reconcile with her husband.
