Suzanne Somers and her manager husband Alan Hamel have slashed the asking price on their Palm Springs compound to $12.9 million.

The actress-turned-Thigh Master entrepreneur dropped the price by 61 per cent of an original $35 million listing that was placed 18 months ago.

Somers’s gym goldmine is approaching its 20th anniversary. Somers has clothing and gadgets in her retail range, also. Her 26-hectare, 10-bedroom estate is a one-off comprising stone and adobe brick. It also features his-and-her offices, two pools and hiking trails.

The Hamels famously lost their $5 million Malibu beachfront home to the fires that ravaged southern California in 2007. They have leased a nearby house for $30,000 a month while they work hard to restore the burnt-out property.
